Powerbook LCD Capacitors
Some models of the Macintosh Powerbook, like the Powerbook 100 need their LCD recapped as the capacitors used have started to do serious damage to the controller board.
Powerbook Power Supply
The capacitors used in many Powerbook power supplies are now leaking, which results in an inappropriate voltage (over voltage or undervoltage). This can lead to the power supply not functioning or worse, damaging the Powerbook.
